As I said yesterday, I put 1lb on last week... I know this was down to not noting what I had eaten and the pro points I used, but, I also think the fact I stopped weighing myself daily didn't help...
I know I know, it goes against everything your told but for the first time in my life I wasn't afraid of the scales, I saw my weight daily and it was a good thing (except yesterday but we will ignore that) because I saw the weight going down, some days by a pound or two, others by just a few ounces, but each day it went down... then, last week, I weighed on tuesday again on wednesday and I stopped, as I stopped I got complacent... I've done really well, I will be ok with this (queue munching noises and not tracking what I've eaten)
For me, weighing daily works, if I see it go down I'm motivated, if I see it go up slightly I'm not depressed as I know it went down yesterday, but I'm reminded it's not easy, I'm changing my life for the better, not just my dress size.
great post... up 1 lb isnt the end of the world.. I too weigh daily... it keeps me on the right track..
